I began my journey in photography and art back in 2009. I had moved to Florida with my kids and became a student at The Arts Institute of Tampa where I pursued my bachelor degree in fine art and majored in digital photography. I spent 2 years there learning about art history, digital manipulations, portraiture, digital darkroom, studio work (portrait and still life as well commercial), some advertising and magazine set up, history of photography, architecture photography and history, as well as photo narratives/ essay , black and white photography, design, drawing, and color comp (painting and color use). After two years I was torn with personal situations and moved back to my home state - Montana. I continued to photograph landscapes while still dabbling with photo manipulations. My best and favorite creations come from darkroom and manipulation. This is where I give a story and personal meaning to my images. All my creations are of my own photographs adding to them  with color as well as overlays and sometimes backgrounds. I sell my work on Fine Art America . com and  you may also purchase any images directly through me, which tends to be a little more affordable to the public.

I now reside in Oregon and I feel I have come in to my own style as well as dabbling in portrait editing. I like adding an art feel but I also like a great landscape shot as well. Right now I have been taking on editing for the public, using their own pictures and creating something unique for them. So far it is going well. I also offer to order prints for them, which are drop shipped from a wonderful print company who does excellent print work. I have never received a bad print, they are of the highest quality and I am very pleased with them.

I would like to add that I am very open to collaborations with other artists. I have connected with one and together the images turned out great. One of them is in my portfolio now.

Below is a few projects that I did in school. You will see some advertising, darkroom editing, editorial/environmental portraits, and studio portrait, and black and white photography. I have some more work from my school portfolio that I hope to add soon.
